Questions Facility Teams Ask

Industrial flooring FAQ

Which flooring system is best for a food-processing facility?

The right system depends on temperatures, chemicals, cleaning procedures, moisture, traffic, drainage and downtime. Cementitious urethane is commonly considered for demanding food and beverage environments, but the assembly must be confirmed for the specific facility.

Can Miyagi repair damaged concrete before installing the floor?

Yes. Miyagi can coordinate concrete removal, patching, crack treatment, joint work and other substrate repairs before resinous flooring installation.

Can installation be phased around an operating facility?

Many projects can be divided into work zones and coordinated around shutdown windows. The practical phasing and return-to-service schedule depends on access, preparation, selected system and site conditions.

Do you work outside Vancouver?

Yes. Miyagi serves commercial, industrial and institutional clients across Metro Vancouver and throughout British Columbia depending on project scope.
